Title - Two new trains introduced

The Railways has introduced a weekly superfast train between Puri and Chennai Central. Train No. 22859 Puri-Chennai Central superfast express will depart Puri at 5.30 p.m. on Sundays with effect from July 22. It will reach Vijayawada on Monday at 7.20 a.m. and depart at 7.40 a.m. It will reach Chennai Central at 2.55 p.m. the same day.

In the return direction, Train No. 22860 Chennai Central-Puri superfast express will leave Chennai Central at 4.15 p.m. on Mondays with effect from July 23. It will arrive in Vijayawada the same day at 11.40 p.m. and depart at 11.50 p.m. It will arrive at Puri at 3.05 p.m. on Tuesdays.

 En route, these trains will stop at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Chatrapur, Brahampur, Sompeta, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot, Rajamundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Nayudupeta, Sullurupeta, and Chennai Central. These Trains will have One AC III Tier, One AC II Tier, nine Sleeper Class, four General Second Class, and two brake van coaches.

Puri-Yesvantpur

Another train Puri –Yesvantpur- Puri weekly Garibrath Express was introduced. Train No. 22883 Puri – Yesvantpur Garibrath Express will depart Puri on Friday at 2.45 p.m., reaches Vijayawada at 5.10 a.m. on Saturday and departs at 5.20 a.m. It reaches Yesvantapur at 8 p.m. the same day.

In the return direction, Train No. 22884 Yesvantpur- Puri Garibrath Express will depart Yesvantpur on Saturday at 10.40 p.m., reaches Vijayawada at 2.10 p.m. on Sunday and departs at 2.30 p.m. It will reach Puri at 5.55 a.m. on Mondays.

The train comprises of two Second AC and 15 Third AC Coaches.
