Dr P.S. Prasad, Director General (Railway Health Services), Railway Board, New Delhi inaugurated the renovated female ward at 2nd Floor of SCR Central Hospital, Lallaguda today (i.e., 3rdAugust, 2013). Dr S K Gupta, Chief Medical Director, SCR, Dr. T. Anjaiah, Medical Director, SCR Central Hospital, Lallaguda, Shri Rakesh Aron, Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division, Shri S.K.Sharma, Chief Administrative Officer(Construction), Doctors, para-medical staff and other officials of SCR were present on the occasion. The centralized air conditioned female ward with 24 beds has modern medical facilities including an Acute Care Unit. For the first time a ward in this Hospital is provided with Day Light Pipe Technology for illuminating interiors with Sun light. The high power light collector of this technology withultra- violet stability collects Sun light from all directions and delivers it effectively into the ward throughout the day even at low Sun angles. This technology has special reflective system which delivers high luminance without colour shift even on cloudy days. The natural light de-stresses the patients, supplies vitamin ‘D’ and supplements towards quick recovery of patients. | ||
