Union Railway Minister Mallikarjun M. Kharge will flag off the Talaguppa-Shimoga city-Talaguppa passenger train and extension of the Mysore-Shimoga city passenger train up to Talaguppa on Saturday at the Shimoga city railway station at 3 p.m.Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly Kagodu Thimmappa, Deputy Chairperson of the State Legislative Council D.H. Shankaramurthy, Minister of State for Primary and Secondary Education and Shimoga district in-charge Kimmane Rathnakar, the former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa, MP B.Y. Raghavendra, MP Ayanur Manjunath, Shimoga MLA K.B. Prasanna Kumar, Shimoga Rural MLA Sharada Poorya Naik, Bhadravathi MLA M.J. Appaji, Sorab MLA Madhu Bangarappa, MLCs R.K. Siddaramanna, M.B. Bhanuprakash, and P.V. Krishna Bhat will be present.The Talaguppa-Shimoga city passenger train (Train no. 56217/56218) will depart from Talaguppa at 10 a.m. and reach Shimoga city at 12.45 a.m. On the return journey, it will start from Shimoga city at 1.50 p.m. and will reach Talaguppa at 4.40 p.m.The Mysore-Shimoga city-Mysore passenger train (Train no. 56276/56275) will depart from Mysore at 1 p.m. and will arrive at Talaguppa at 10.15 p.m. via Shimoga city and Sagar city. It will stop at Kotegangur, Konagavalli, Harnahalli, Kumsi, Arasalu, Kenchanala, Anandapuram, and Adderi stations. On the return journey, the train will start from Talaguppa at 5 a.m. and will reach Mysore at 2.10 p.m. | ||
