The number of coaches per train, their dimensions, names for Kochi Metro Rail’s 22 stations and schedule for the project will be on the discussion table when the 12th Director Board meeting of Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) will be held here on Friday.

The board is also expected to finalise a funding strategy for availing a mix of domestic and foreign loans for the project’s funding. It would approve the metro rail’s budget for the financial year 2013-14.

The board will also approve the appointment of Ved Mani Tiwari as Director (Systems) who will be responsible for signalling aspects.
