The South Central Railway Golf Team emerged the Runners up at the 57th All India Inter Railway Golf Tournament, held at Patna from 15th to 17thMarch 2013.Shri Gajbhiye Chief Mechanical Engineer and President South Central Railway Sports Association (SCRSA) and Shri B S K Raj Kumar, Chief Engineer & Secretary, S C Rly Golf Club and Shri Bala Murali, Assistant Sports Officer lauded the achievement of the SC Railway Golf Team.Twenty Teams from various Zonal Railways and Production Units participated in the tournament.. Diesel Locomotive Works, Varanasi secured first place with 460 points, South Central Railway secured second place with 466 points and South Western Railway secured third place with 468 points. Shri Ajay Bharathi, Golfer belonging to S.C.Railway team was declared as second best Golfer and also won in the “Longest Drive” contest. The Prizes were distributed by Shri Madhuresh Kumar, General Manager, East Central Railway. | ||
