Jaipur:The police arrested four persons on Sunday evening for their alleged involvement in flesh trade. One of the accused is employed as a gangman with the Indian Railways. He used to provide his official quarter for prostitution. The police have registered cases against them under PITA Act.The gangman has been identified as Ram Ratan Meena. “We had been getting news of involvement of the gangman in flesh trade. On Sunday, there was information that the man had brought a woman and two more persons to his house,” said Nem Singh, SHO, Bajaj Nagar police station.The police sent a cop as a bogus customer to the man’s government accommodation at Gandhi Nagar railway station. “On receiving the signal from the cop, we raided the house,” the SHO said. The police found Ram Ratan along with the woman, identified as Pooja, a native of Niwai village near Tonk. The police also nabbed Giriraj and Ratan Lal from the gangman’s house. The two are residents of Jhalana Doongri area. The police registered a case under sections 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA). “A case was registered against them and they were produced before court on Monday. The court sent them to judicial custody till June 21,” said Nem Singh.
