Bangalore :
The South Western Railways (SWR) will augment several trains with additional coaches to clear extra rush.Tirupati-Kolhapur-Tirupati Haripriya Express (17415/17416) will be augmented with two additional second class sleeper coaches from May 16 to 31 from Tirupati and from May 18  to 31 from Kolhapur. An additional three-tier AC coach is being attached to the Kakinada -Bangalore Express (17210/17209 ) from May 16 to 31 from Kakinada and from Bangalore City from May 17 to 31 to clear extra rush of passengers on waiting list.Four additional coaches will be attached temporarily to Hatia-Yeshwantpur Express Special (08635/08636 ) from Hatia on May 23 and 30, June 6, 13, 20 and 27 and from Yeshwantpur on May 25 and June 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29.The Howrah-Yeshwantpur Duronto Express (12245) will be augmented with one additional sleeper class coach on May 19, 24 and 28 May and one additional AC three-tier coach on May 21, 25 and 29. The Yeshwantpur-Howrah Duronto Express (12246) will be augmented with one additional sleeper class coach on May 21, 26 and 30 May and with one additional AC three-tier Coach on May  23, 27 and 31.

Trains cancelled

Arasikere-Mysore Passenger (56265) and Mysore-Arasikere Passenger are cancelled from May 20 to May 22.

A one-minute stoppage has been introduced at Nalwar station between Yadgir and Wadi for Yeshwantpur-Bagalkot Basava Express (17307/17308) from May 15 for a period of six months. Train No 17307 arrives Nalwar station at 3.30 am and will depart at 3.31 am; in the return direction, train no 17308 arrives at Nalwar at 11.19 pm and will depart at 11.20 pm, from May 15. The stop introduced at Srirangapatna for Mysore-Tuticorin Express (16732/16731) will be withdrawn with effect from June 1, 2013.

Special trains

Bangalore City-Patna –Bangalore City Weekly Express Special (06513 / 06514 ) will be run as detailed below to clear the extra rush. Bangalore City – Patna Weekly Express Special (06513 ) will leave Bangalore City at 10.10 am on Tuesdays and arrive at Patna at 9.50 am on Thursdays. Patna-Bangalore City Weekly Express Special (06514) will leave Patna at 8.20 pm on Thursdays and arrive at Bangalore City at 9 pm, on Saturdays.

The first service from Bangalore City will commence on May 21 and the last service will be on May 25. The first service from Patna will commence on May 23 and the last service will be on May 27.
