Train services in Birur-Ajjampur section will be affected for five days following line doubling works. The Mysore division of the South Western Railways has cancelled Shimoga-Birur passenger on June 13 while the Bangalore-Shimoga-Bangalore passenger has been cancelled for three days from June 14. The Birur-Shimoga passenger is cancelled on June 17. According to senior divisional commercial manager, Mysore division, K Anil Kumar, the train services are cancelled in view of the doubling work on Biru-Ajjampur broad gauge section
