Sunil V Arya, general manager of West Central Railway visited Bhopal division on Tuesday and apprised himself of the activities to improve passenger services and allied areas.The Railways have planned several additional trains for the forthcoming summer rush. For instance, additional trains will ply between Jabalpur and Mumbai from March end till June. Apart from that, Arya inaugurated the computerised reservation centre, the LCD installed at the Bhopal station for commercial activities and the newly constructed officer rest house.Earlier in the day, Arya also visited Sanket Bansal and Chandrakant Mongia, both assistant station managers, recuperating at National Hospital and Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre (BMHRC), respectively.These officers were injured in an arson incident that took place at Gulabganj railway station earlier. Arya assured that the injured would receive the best treatment possible.Rajeev Choudhary, Bhopal divisional manager and other senior officials were also present at the hospital. Arya also inaugurated the 71 st All-India Railway Men's Hockey 2012-13 competition. | ||
