In an alleged incident of molestation, BJP MLA from Agiaon, Shivesh Kumar, his wife and their six-month old baby were attacked severely by a group of railway employees who were in an inebriated condition in an AC-2 coach of Danapur-Howrah express.The incident took place when the BJP MLA boarded the train along with his family at Patna and was on his way to attend a family function. A group of more than a dozen people boarded the train when it reached Rajendra Nagar.Kumar said that he booked two berths for him and his wife and the opposite berth was booked in the name of an MP which was vacant. The group which boarded the train at Patna junction sat on the vacant berth and behaved wild and started talking vulgarly. They did not stop their behaviour even after opposed by Kumar.As a result Kumar’s wife complained with the TTE Jitendra Singh who was on duty. The TTE let loose as they were all railway staffs, and assured that there will not be any problem. After a while when the railway employees took out a bottle to drink, Kumar opposed it and was beaten up. Kumar said that the group also threw whisky on his wife and behaved rudely with her. He somehow managed to pull the alarm when the group threatened him to kill.The situation turned worse when the train stopped. One more on-duty TTE, Akhilesh Kumar started to fight with Kumar for pulling the chain and stopping the train. As they were in large numbers, none of the passengers came forward to dare the railway employees, said Kumar. | ||
